Is the Mayan prophecy for real? Is the world going to end on December 21, 2012?

In their briefest form, the answers are in our separateness from Source. We no longer recognize The Way. Isolated in fear, we lash out and violate the very structure of our being.

To transcend today´s imbalance, the threat of its excesses -- if it´s not already too late -- we must return to and assimilate the fundamental truth: that we and all things are interconnected. . . that All is One.

We know who we are.

We have stood at the edge of the canyon reaching, reaching beyond our selves to touch once again the eternal. Below, the stream flows deeper and deeper into the earth, while on the far side the cave dwellings of our ancestors are cut in sunlight and shadow. Above them, a vast vertical outcrop has been poured over with the elemental stain of eons passing. At the horizon, smooth rim rock breasts up against the sky.

Ancient footpaths lace down through cleaved rock, and still, warm winds whisper through the cottonwoods. Our hearts once knew all the secrets of this place and spoke its timeless language. But we left so long ago. Now we have come back all this way, isolated, mute, filled with hunger to be reborn. From nowhere, an immense golden eagle glides not thirty feet overhead and disappears. For an instant, time opens and we can see infinitely into our selves.

We return to our cities pierced from within.

Daniel leaned forward to look into the shrouded face and saw only a pearly light that arose from somewhere within the robe and filled the hood. There was no face. There was no head. Just an empty robe with ancient hands coming out of the sleeves.

Then the figure spoke: Today, you are afraid to think of yourselves as the center of the universe. But long ago, you were the center of the universe. The sun and the moon revolved around you, the stars and heavens around them. Today, instead of being at the core of the universe, you have become a mere speck among specks in the outermost reaches of an unimportant cluster, one among billions upon billions of galaxies, embracing exponential numbers of stars, your sun among them, dim, average, indescribably irrelevant. But in spite of endless cosmic redundancy, the insignificance of your galaxy, your solar system, your planet, you among the teeming continents, each of you is absolutely unique!. . .

The hood seemed to shake with passion. You should take a bite from your own flesh and hold it under your tongue to remind you of the taste of your truth, never to abandon yourself again.

You are now past the noon of your life. It is time to know once again your larger self. Know that your life is precious and immense beyond measure. The whole of your self with its eons of wisdom in concert, has been speaking to you from the moment you were born. Your life is not a benign path laid out before you, but a manifestation of the universe itself. Your life is nothing less than the burning point of consciousness unfolding. There isn´t a mission or a destiny more important than the life you are living. Stand firmly on its highest ground. Open your arms wide, feel the wind before you, breathe in its freshness, see the distances beyond distances of possibilities. You are not apart from anything. You are the center of everything. The reality of Now, the truth of what is to be, is yours to create. Breathe into it, and it will itself breathe into being. You are the crucible of creation. Live it!
